Non-woven fabric is a type of non-woven fabric. It's a new type of fiber product with a soft, breathable, and flat structure, created directly from polymer chips, staple fibers, or filaments through various web-forming and consolidation techniques. Its advantages over traditional plastic bags include: they are inexpensive, environmentally friendly, practical, widely applicable, and offer prominent advertising space. They are suitable for various business events and exhibitions, making them ideal promotional gifts for businesses and institutions.
Non-woven bags are made from polypropylene, while plastic bags are made from polyethylene. Although their names are similar, their chemical structures differ significantly. Polyethylene's molecular structure is highly stable and extremely difficult to degrade, which is why plastic bags take 300 years to decompose completely. Polypropylene, on the other hand, has a weak chemical structure, and its molecular chains easily break, allowing it to effectively degrade and enter the next environmental cycle in a non-toxic form. A non-woven bag can completely decompose within 90 days.
Non-woven fabrics are products that resemble cloth but are not cloth, without requiring a textile process. They are also called non-woven fabrics. Non-woven bags are made by simply aligning or randomly arranging textile staple fibers or filaments to form a web structure, which is then reinforced mechanically, thermally, or chemically. Most non-woven bags are made from spunbond non-woven fabric.
Simply put, non-woven fabrics are not made by interweaving or knitting individual yarns together. Instead, the fibers are physically bonded together. Therefore, when you pull the spunbond from your clothes, you'll find no loose threads. Non-woven fabrics break through traditional textile principles and offer advantages such as a short production process, fast production speed, high output, low cost, a wide range of applications, and a diverse raw material source.
Learn about laminated non-woven bags in one minute.
Laminated non-woven bags are made using a cast film method. They are strong and adhere to the laminated surface, resisting adhesive adhesion during the lamination process. They have a soft feel, no plastic feel, and are non-irritating to the skin. They are suitable for use in disposable medical drapes, bed sheets, surgical gowns, isolation suits, protective clothing, shoe covers, and other sanitary protective equipment. Bags made from this type of fabric are called laminated non-woven bags.
