 Advantages of Ultrasonic Welding Process
Compared to traditional needle and thread sewing or adhesive bonding, ultrasonic welding generates heat through mechanical vibration, causing the non-woven fabric contact surface to instantly melt and solidify, forming a tightly bonded seam. This process has no pinholes or glue marks, avoiding the problems of disconnection and leakage that may occur with traditional processes. It also has high processing efficiency (can weld several meters per second) and is suitable for mass production.

Q: Can the welding strength of non-woven ultrasonic tape exceed that of needle and thread sewing?

A: In most cases, it is possible. Ultrasonic welding combines molecules through melting, resulting in a strong overall joint that is not easily broken from a single point; Sewing with needle and thread can leave pinholes on the fabric, which can easily tear under force (especially on lightweight non-woven fabrics). A: Suitable.
